DVC Resort Activities: Disney’s Riviera Resort
Many guests choose Disney’s Riviera Resort for its Skyliner access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. However, if you’re looking to spend a relaxing day outside of the theme parks, Riviera offers lots of recreational activities beyond pool time and a joyride on the Skyliner.
Eventi Room
Riviera doesn’t have a community hall, but the Eventi Room has many of the same activities that you would find in a community hall. It offers paint your own animation cel, wine glass, ceramics, or tumblers. You can also make your own sugar scrub. There are movies and games like tic tac toe, Scrabble, Connect Four, Uno, checkers, dominos, and Jenga. Movies and games are free, but the crafts have a small fee. The Eventi Room is open from 10am to 10pm daily.
Lawn Games
At the back of the resort near the pools, enjoy games like bocce, chess, cornhole, and Connect Four.
Movie Under the Stars
Head to the Cinema Lawn for Disney movies every day at 8:30pm. Current movies being shown include “Frozen 2,” “The Jungle Book (1967),” “Cinderella,” “Chicken Little,” “Mulan,” “Lilo and Stitch,” and “Starstruck.”
Night Time Trivia
Visit the cozy Voyageurs’ Lounge at 8pm to 8:30pm on Sundays and Mondays for some Disney trivia followed by a showing of a Disney movie.
Painting on the Riviera
On Thursdays, join an instructor-led painting class from 1pm to 3pm in the Eventi Room. The $50 fee for the activity includes food and beverage options.
Poolside Activities
From 1:30pm to 3:30pm daily, head to the Riviera Feature Pool Deck for games like trivia and relays.
Search for Pascal
Look for a plush Pascal (Rapunzel’s chameleon friend) hidden somewhere on the resort grounds and take a picture with him when you find him. You can show the photo to a cast member in the Eventi Room for a small prize!
Skyliner Rally Scavenger Hunt
Pick up the scavenger hunt instructions in the Eventi Room, and follow the clues that will take you to all the Skyliner resorts! This includes Pop Century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach, Riviera, Yacht and Beach Club, and BoardWalk.
