DVC Resort Activities: Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek

Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas are both part of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Between the two DVC resorts, there are lots of crafts, games, and other entertainment to enjoy without heading to the theme parks.

Arts and Crafts

Craft of the Day

Head over to Salon by the Springs between 4pm and 5pm for the Craft of the Day. There’s Mickey Tie-Dye on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays; Make Your Own Pixie Dust on Mondays; Create Your Own Terrarium on Tuesdays; Design Your Own Wilderness Explorer Backpack on Thursdays; and Make Your Own Sugar Scrub on Fridays.

Salon by the Springs

Wilderness Lodge doesn’t have a community hall. However, Salon by the Springs offers pin trading and other arts and crafts activities in addition to the Craft of the Day. It’s open daily from 12:30pm to 5:45pm.

Wonders of the Lodge Art & Architecture Tour

If you love Wilderness Lodge, this one-hour walking tour on the architecture, art, and theming of the lodge is for you! The tour takes place at 9am daily and starts by the fireplace in the lobby.

Entertainment

Arcade

Visit Buttons and Bells Game Arcade for a variety of family-friendly games. The arcade is open from 8am to 11pm daily.

Electrical Water Pageant

Cap off your day by watching the classic Electrical Water Pageant! It passes resorts along the Seven Seas Lagoon from 8:25pm to 10:30pm each night. Geyser Point is a great spot to watch the pageant float by as you enjoy a drink or bite to eat!

Movie Under the Stars

Watch Disney movies like “Mulan,” “Star Wars: A New Hope,” “Big Hero 6,” “Onward,” and “Frozen” at 8:30pm daily. This takes place behind Salon by the Springs. If there is inclement weather, you can watch the movie in the Carolwood Pacific Room at Boulder Ridge.

Poolside Activities

From 2pm to 3:30pm daily, join in on games at the Copper Creek Springs Pool. On rainy days, games are moved to Salon by the Springs.

Other Activities

Rentals

Rent a boat or bike from Teton Boat and Bike Rental. Boats include Sea Raycers, Boston Whaler Montauks, and SunTracker pontoon boats.

Fishing

Go on a two-hour or four-hour guided bass fishing excursion along Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon. To make a reservation in advance, call 407-939-FISH.
