Beverage Tasting Classes at Walt Disney World
When guests think about drinking in Walt Disney World, they may automatically think of drinking around the world in EPCOT. However, there are some actual classes that you can take to learn more about your favorite beverages and of course do some tasting.
Sangria University
During the 90-minute Sangria University at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, guests can learn the history of sangria and the recipes for 4 in-house sangria varieties served at Three Bridges Bar and Grill. Guests can then make their own sangria! After the lesson, guests enjoy samplings of the 4 in-house sangrias and an appetizer. The classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays, and cost $59 per person. La Cava Experience
At La Hacienda de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT, you’ll find La Cava Experience. During this event, a Certified Tequila Ambassador teaches guests about the history of tequila. The Ambassador also guides them through a tasting of rare agave spirits, some of which are unique to the event. The experience is $180 per person and can be reserved online.
Wine Bar George Wine Experience
Learn to taste wine from George Miliotes, owner of Wine Bar George and one of only 273 Master Sommeliers in the world! On select dates, George leads a 90-minute event in which guests learn to taste wine like a professional through a blind tasting of 6 different wines. The experience also includes cheese and charcuterie. The events are held at Wine Bar George in Disney Springs. Tickets are $110 per person and can be purchased online.
