Best Places to Eat at Disney’s Grand Floridian
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the flagship hotel at Walt Disney World, and it is home to lots of great dining. When you stay at the Grand Floridian, there are plenty of options to please everyone in your travel party. From signature dining to casual and quick service, here are some of the best places to eat at Disney’s Grand Floridian!
Signature Dining
Victoria & Albert’s
For the ultimate fine dining experience at a Walt Disney World resort, look no further than Victoria & Albert’s. This newly refurbished restaurant has earned accolades from the AAA Five Diamond Award to the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award and offers three distinct dining experiences to choose from: The Dining Room with a seasonal tasting menu, the Queen Victoria Room with its royal decor and tableside presentations, and The Chef’s Table, which allows guests to interact with the chefs as they prepare the tasting menu. Victoria & Albert’s also offers wine pairings from its award-winning collection of over 500 wines or zero-proof pairings. This is one of the places to eat at Disney’s Grand Floridian and all of Walt Disney World!
Citricos
Just across the way from Victoria & Albert’s you will find Citricos. Themed after Mary Poppins Returns, this restaurant serves Florida cuisine with a Mediterranean flair. Signature dishes include guava-barbecued short ribs and butter-poached cobia. If you are looking for something more unique for a special occasion, try the Sommelier Room for a tasting menu with a champagne toast, 7 courses paired to wine, and one course paired to a cocktail.
Casual Dining
Enchanted Rose
On the second floor of the main Grand Floridian building, you will find the Beauty and the Beast themed Enchanted Rose. While this is a beautiful lounge with plenty of creative cocktails and wine, it also offers some delicious light bites, such as flatbreads, brisket sliders, crab macaroni and cheese, truffle fries, and artisanal cheese.
Grand Floridian Cafe
This casual table service restaurant on the ground level of the resort features American fare. For breakfast, you’ll find steak and eggs, Mickey waffles, and the Grand Breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash brown casserole. At lunch and dinner, you can choose from entrees like miso-glazed salmon, shrimp and grits, buttermilk-fried chicken, and the lobster thermidor burger.
Quick Service
Gasparilla Island Grill
Located near the marina, Gasparilla Island Grill offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, you will find your usual breakfast platters, Mickey waffles, and pastries. Lunch and dinner feature sandwiches, burgers, salads, pizzas, and macaroni and cheese. Gasparilla Island Grill often has fun seasonal treats to celebrate the various holidays, so don’t forget to leave room for dessert! As a bonus, you can even have a nice view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from the outdoor tables.
While these are our best places to eat at Disney’s Grand Floridian, they are just a few highlights of this amazing resort. There are even more dining options to enjoy at the Grand Floridian than those mentioned here, including the temporarily closed character buffet 1900 Park Fare, the soon-to-be-reimagined Narcoosee’s, Beaches Pool Bar & Grill, and Courtyard Pool Bar.
