We have learned that due to US tax law, we will be unable to send new bookings to our International Members that do not have an International Tax Identification Number (ITIN).
In order to comply, we ask that all International Members obtain and submit an ITIN before we release new rental requests.
We would prefer not to have to implement such procedures, as we welcome and invite all International Members to participate in renting their points with us. Unfortunately, we are open to extreme liability with the United States IRS if we are not in compliance.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Compliance for International Members:
- Complete IRS Form W-7 to Apply for ITIN
Here’s the link for the Instructions for Form W-7 https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/iw7.pdf
To apply for ITIN, use Form W-7 and send to:
Internal Revenue Service
PO Box 149342
Austin, TX 78714-9342
It could take 6-8 weeks to obtain ITIN notification from IRS.
- Once ITIN is obtained, complete IRS W-8ECI Form.
This can be mailed or emailed to us here at the DVC Rental Store.
Having this document on-file will allow us to move forward with renting your points.
If you have your ITIN number and you’re ready to rent your points, please fill out the form below.
