Will my Disney Vacation Club resort check-in differ from a regular hotel stay check-in?

No. Your check-in will proceed in the same manner as if you had booked your stay directly through Disney.

Back to Question List

What will I need to provide to the Disney cast member at check-in?

You will provide the Disney cast member with your name, reservation number and a photo ID. Your renting member’s name will not come up at check-in but you will want to have it handy just in case.

Back to Question List

Can I request a certain villa location prior to check-in?

Yes. We are happy to have your renting DVC member place a villa location request on your reservation. Disney does not guarantee such requests but will do their best to accommodate. You will want to reinforce your request if given the opportunity during your Online Check-In session and again at your actual resort check-in. Feel free to ask the cast member at check-in to relocate you if the assigned villa does not meet your needs.

I have a split stay between two resorts reserved. How will my luggage get to the new resort?

Disney will move your luggage from one Disney-owned resort to another at no charge (gratuities expected.) Contact bell services on the morning of the move and when they arrive, let them know your final destination. Expect luggage to arrive at your new resort after 5pm. You will have to call bell services to request delivery to your room as they will not do so automatically.

Am I able to utilize Disney’s Online Resort Check-In Service when renting Disney Vacation Club points?

Yes. You can utilize Disney’s Online Resort Check-In Service in the same manner as if you had reserved your stay through Disney.

What are the benefits of Online Check-In Service?

Guests who participate in Online Check-In Service may spend reduced time checking in upon arrival at the Disney Resort hotel, and Cast Members can focus on providing helpful information and answering your questions.

How does Online Check-In Service work?

Online Check-In Service enables Guests to provide information typically collected at the Disney Resort hotel front desk online prior to arrival. Upon arrival, a Guest who has participated in Online Check-In Service will visit the designated location at the Disney Resort hotel front desk to complete check-in and obtain a pre-packaged welcome folder.

You may start the online resort check-in process up to 60 days in advance of your check-in date. As a reminder, we will send you instructions to check-in online once you are within 10 days of your arrival.

Back to Question List

Can I utilize the Online Check-In Service at all of the DVC resorts?

No. The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa do not offer online check-in. However, all other DVC resorts, including Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii do offer Online Check-In Service.
