Some families may have to book their Spring Disney World getaway around school and work schedules, but there are some other considerations to keep in mind, such as the temperatures or special events. Although May can be mild in some climates, it can hit the 90s in Central Florida, and the humidity can start to creep in by that time of year. March tends to be milder.
If you are hoping to see the Easter Parade in Magic Kingdom, which features rare characters and of course Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, you’ll want to make sure your trip covers Easter weekend (April 8-9, 2023). For those who love dressing up for Dapper Day, you’ll want to visit Epcot on April 29, 2023 and Magic Kingdom on April 30, 2023. If you start planning now, you’ll have plenty of time to put together your best Disney-inspired look!
Pick Your Disney Vacation Club Resort
There are so many great resorts at Walt Disney World, it can be hard to choose! One way to narrow it down is to think about which park (or parks) you plan to visit the most throughout your trip. This will greatly depend on how many people will be in your travel party and which resort you select. For example Deluxe Studios at Bay Lake Tower, Copper Creek, Jambo House, Kidani Village, Old Key West, and Saratoga Springs accommodate up to 4 adults. By contrast, Beach Club, BoardWalk, Grand Floridian, Polynesian, and Riviera can accommodate up to 5 adults. Some resorts also offer different booking categories such as Standard, Preferred, or even Theme Park View. This can pertain to the location of your room (i.e., Preferred rooms are closer to amenities and the lobby at Saratoga Springs) or the view from your balcony (i.e., Preferred rooms have a view of the water at Riviera), depending on the resort.
