The 4 DVC Christmas Resorts You Can’t Miss!
Christmas adds an extra dose of magic to everything at Disney! If you have the privilege of visiting during this time, make sure to add these four DVC Christmas resorts to your top priority to visit. The decorations and amazing gingerbread artwork is something to behold.
The Grand Floridian – #1 DVC Christmas Resort
Disney’s Grand Floridian has to be the best decorated Christmas Resort. There is a giant gingerbread house in the middle of the lobby and it is epic! There is even smoke that comes out of the chimney sometimes, and you can also buy sweet treats out of the house. At certain times, the cast members hold a class/show on how to decorate a gingerbread house. There are pretty Christmas trees around the resort and one giant tree in the middle of the lobby as well. A trip to the Grand Floridian is well worth some of your time this Holiday Season!!
Disney’s Boardwalk Inn & Villas – Amazing
Another gingerbread treat for the eyes can be found at the Boardwalk Inn. This gingerbread boardwalk is a close second to the gingerbread house in Grand Floridian. The attention to detail in this Boardwalk replica is phenomenal! It looks exactly like the Boardwalk just outside!! And it is complete with hidden Mickeys.
Disney’s Beach Club Villas – Magical
The Beach Club also hosts a gingerbread phenomenon in the gingerbread carousel. It is incredibly sweet with the theme of Peter Pan – even Captain Hook makes an appearance. The attention to detail is insane! If you look at the picture below alone, you can see Captain Hook’s hook…holding Tinkerbell in the glass jar! And the map and hat…it’s all just magical. This carousel also smells wonderfully delicious! And like the gingerbread Boardwalk, there are also hidden Mickeys in this work of art.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge (Copper Creek & Boulder Ridge) – Majestic
The Wilderness Lodge makes it into our top 4 DVC Christmas Resorts because it has one of the largest indoor trees on Disney property!! It’s majestic! Inside the Wilderness Lodge, you will also find a gingerbread lodge. It isn’t as complex as the other gingerbread masterpieces…but it is still cute.
Although the other DVC Resorts are also decorated for Christmas, these are the DVC resorts that hold the most Christmas magic in my opinion. Their attention to detail has created beautiful masterpieces! We hope you get to visit at least one if not all of these resorts when you visit Disney at Christmas!
